Here are April's MLS Quick Tips:


I’m attempting to list a property that I’ve never listed before, but it is saying duplicate listings. Why?

In most cases, this means that the previous listing agent marked the listing as Withdrawn instead of Cancelled. Withdrawn status is a conditional release where the property cannot be re-listed with another broker until it is expired. For more information, reach out to the MLS Department at 940-387-8212.


Seen this before? Don’t panic! This is only a courtesy notice to let you know that you did not mark it sold within 72 hours. Only when this is habitual will the system prompt a fine. A Listing Participant shall report to the MLS any change in the status of a Listed Property, including final closing of sales and sale prices, within seventy-two (72) hours after such change of status occurs. ~NTREIS MLS Rules and Regulations Section 8.08


Why is my status (Pending, Active, etc.) not reflected in ShowingTime?

ShowingTime syncs up to one hour after receiving a status change notification. If it is has been longer than an hour, reach out to ShowingTime Customer Support to assist you with this issue at 1-800-379-0057.
